Communication and discussion will form a rich part of our learning as we share ideas, make connections, and make our thinking visible throughout the course. As one of the curricular competencies, communication will make up 15% of your final score and that will include all discussions within our course site, as well as linked critical thinking activities in spaces such as Flip Grid, Padlet, and Miro. Competency-Based Assessment
Your score in this course will be a reflection of your skills, as they develop through the various discussions, activities, assignments, and projects. Rather than each assignment being worth a percent of your total grade, your grade will be determined by your most recent and consistent performance in the BC Curricular Competencies. The competencies below will be assessed in the assignments, discussions and activities within the modules listed above throughout the course, giving you multiple opportunities to build your skills.
