From interactive fiction to narrative games, Instagram poetry, and social media journalism, this course is an exploration of what is new in the world of literature.  Focusing on the future of reading and writing as it intersects with media art, we will examine and create digital texts, media, and electronic literature. Creative works, projects, and inquiry will be student-driven and might take the form of podcasts, vlogs, blogs, game design, interactive texts, Twitter bots, visual poetry, film, and more as we explore new media digital technologies.
